Multiple reviews explicitly cite switching to Google Classroom, and the Canvas hack has accelerated vendor distrust. The LMS market is unusually fluid right now, and no tool exists to help districts make defensible, data-driven LMS transition decisions under time pressure.
Schools are actively reconsidering their LMS vendor after reliability and security failures, but have no structured tool to audit their current LMS usage, export content, and evaluate alternatives against their specific workflow needs.
K-12 instructional technology coordinators and higher-ed department heads responsible for LMS procurement and migration.
A SaaS migration-intelligence platform that helps schools inventory their current LMS content and integrations, benchmark competing platforms (Canvas, Google Classroom, Schoology, Brightspace) against their rubric of needs, and generate a phased migration plan with risk scoring. Includes teacher retraining templates and parent communication kits.

Canvas is really bad, u literally got hacked, and this is so unproductive and hard to use. Google classroom is better than yours. Google classroom is free, why would I spend money on something that doesn’t help me in the slightest? Please fix your app, thanks.
Very laggy and annoying to use. Modules aren’t organized and everything is just AWFUL to use. Good thing we are switching to Google Classroom. Google Classroom is less laggy, so think about this as a recommendation to tell your school to NOT use canvas.
How do you get hacked by probably some stupid teenager this app sucks and I think kids should go back to paper and pencil
Instructure gets hacked and leaves my private data in the hands of scammers? Absolute joke. I cannot wait for the day I can delete this app and never use it again. DO NOT USE CANVAS IF YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS!!!
The functionality is nice, but changing the to-do list made it look and function poorly. After the cybersecurity attack it took weeks until my specific school got at least some stuff back up and running. Zero direct communication to users STILL having issues after weeks.
This is one of the most buggy apps I have ever worked with. Anything other than the most basic functions seem to never work reliably and even then, sometimes the app doesn’t work at all. Please take some time to go back through and make sure you existing features work before adding anything else
I used this app for 5 years, and it was perfect! But all of a sudden, I open ClassLink, and there is no canvas? I ask my teacher, and she said it got hacked. I don’t blame y’all, but try to have better security.
it logged me out and when i click on my organization to log back in i just get a fail message. qr login also isnt woriking and i cant find any help on their website. just awful for no reason.
Used to be good but the new update sucks. My classes never load properly on the dashboard
